| Summer Reading is an important part of the curriculum of St. Benilde School. The reading list | ||||
| for Kindergarten through 7th grade are made of Accelerated Reader titles for which we have | ||||
| quizzes. The required Summer Reading is two (2) books from the above list. Our Scholastic | ||||
| Book Fair, which will be held March 3rd thru 7th, will try to provide as many titles as possible | ||||
| from this list for you to purchase. If you choose a book which is not available, you may check | ||||
| it out at the Public Library or purchase it at a Book Store. Students will be required to take a | ||||
| quiz for each book he/she reads. They should not choose one which they already read and for | ||||
| which they have already taken a quiz, because the computer will not allow them to take the | ||||
| quiz again. Quizzes may be taken when they return to school, or on the following dates--June | ||||
| 11th and 25th, July 9th and 23rd from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. | ||||
| A biography of a Saint will also be required during the summer. We will have some of these | ||||
| books at the fair. Please include 8.75% sales tax to the total of your order. Checks should be | ||||
| made payable to St. Benilde School. | ||||
