| Summer Reading is an important part of the curriculum of St. Benilde School. The reading list for grades 1 | ||||||
| through 7 are made of Accelerated Reader titles for which we have quizzes. Students are required to read one | ||||||
| book chosen from this list. Our Scholastic Book Fair, which will be held March 19th thru 23rd, will try | ||||||
| to provide as many titles as possible from this list for you to purchase. If you choose a book which is not | ||||||
| available, you may check it out at the Public Library or purchase it at a Book Store. Students will be required | ||||||
| to take a quiz for each book he/she reads. They should not choose one which they have already read and | ||||||
| for which they have already taken a quiz, because the computer will not allow them to take the quiz again. | ||||||
| Quizzes may be taken when they return to school, or on the following dates-- June 20th and 27th, July 18th | ||||||
| and 25th from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. | ||||||
| A biography of a Saint will also be required during the summer. We will also have some of these books at the fair. | ||||||
